Biography:
Tammy joined Otech to familiarize herself with the instruments used in engineering technologies that will help her in a future career in aeronautical engineering. She is currently a third year student in the aerospace program at UCDavis.
She remembers watching a documentary on the space race and it was at that moment that she knew she would become an aerospace engineer. The creative process and intricate, meticulous work that goes in to the designing of aircraft is something that she would like to be a part of.
In her spare time, Tammy is an amateur astronomer, she knits and crochets and loves any sport having to do with water.
Tammy is setting her sights on graduate school. She will continue to work in the aerospace industry and is hoping to have an opportunity to do field work. She looks forward to the day when she can be a major contributor in the aerospace field.
